Winter Classic Art & Craft Show

While husbands, boyfriends and fathers spend their weekend watching out for the thirty point buck, deer hunter widows are invited to the Winter Classic Art & Craft Show on Saturday, November 20, 2010 from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. at the Waupaca Ale House & Conference Center (201 Foxfire Drive, Waupaca, Wis.) on Hwy. 54.

In its seventh year, the show will feature over 35 vendors, holiday music, door prizes and more for shoppers. “Opening weekend of deer hunting season is busy for the hunters in the family. The Winter Classic Art & Craft Show offers something for non-hunters to enjoy and look forward to,” said Barbara Johnson, co-founder, Winter Classic Art & Craft Show. “We are excited to offer a lot of new artists and crafters while maintaining the high quality for which our show has earned its reputation.” This year, the show will offer thousands of handcrafted items for sale, including baskets, soaps, candles, detailed paintings and handmade wood art. Crafters from across the state of Wisconsin will be in attendance.

“As a juried craft show, we approve all artists in our show and ensure that they make their items,” said Johnson. “We know authentic, handmade items are important to people, especially when it comes to finding the perfect gifts for the holidays.” In previous years, the show has attracted over 800 visitors throughout the day. With a wider array of crafters, its same convenient location and a growing reputation, the show founders expect the turnout to be just as good, if not better, as previous years.
