The Waupaca High School boys’ curling team scored five in the first end and four in the third end en route to a 12-4 win over Eau Claire Friday, Dec. 17.
Zach Waitrovich skipped the team to the win and Waupaca improved to 6-0 on the season.
The boys also defeated Medford 6-3 Tuesday, Dec. 14. The girls’ team, consisting of Hannah Johnson, Sylvia Veleker, Cydney Pufahl and Jacci Cuff are now 5-0 on the season with a 9-8 win over Medford. The junior varsity boys picked up a 10-5 win, while the JV girls fell 11-5.
Waupaca traveled to Wausau East Tuesday, Dec. 21.
