Sturm Memorial Library celebrates Teacher Appreciation Month

May is Teacher Appreciation Month and Sturm Memorial Library in Manawa is celebrating the community’s teachers with a big display at the Library. Organized by Library Trustees Dianne Fossum and Nancy Walker the display includes a “match the baby photo with the teacher” contest and a chance to write one or all of your teachers a thank you note for everything they’ve done for you.

The photo contest includes baby photos of participating teachers that are numbered and people have to match the baby photo with the teacher. Those who guess all photos correctly will be entered in a drawing to win a gift certificate from a local merchant. If you want to write your teacher a thank you note, note cards are provided and the Library will deliver the thank you notes or people can deliver them personally.

The Teacher Appreciation display and photo contest is the last special event for the Library’s Centennial Celebration which started last October. For more information contact the Library at 920-596-2252 or visit the Library’s web page at www.manawalibrary.org. Information about this is also on the Library’s Facebook page.
