Grant and Verdell Sorensen were the honored guests at the 17th annual Waupaca High School Grand Reunion held Sept. 16-17 in Waupaca.
Grant is a member of the WHS Class of 1933 and his wife Verdell graduated in 1934 from Red Cloud High School in Red Cloud, Neb. They joined alumni of WHS classes with graduation dates of 50 years ago or more for the Grand Reunion.
The tradition was started by Arlen Davidson and Sam Taylor, Class of 1944, serving as co-chairmen.
This year, 195 people attended the Friday banquet at the Waupaca Ale House and 140 attended the Saturday indoor picnic at the VFW Clubhouse.
