Wildenberg named Rodeo Queen

Tracy Wildenberg, daughter of Kelly and Loretta Wildenberg of Ogdensburg, was recently chosen to reign as queen of the Manawa Lions 54th Annual Mid-Western Rodeo.

Wildenberg currently attends UW-Fox Valley studying Business Management. Her hobbies include horseback riding, rodeo, basketball, photography and mentoring youth and their horses. She is also a member of the Rodeo City Riders Drill Team.

This year’s contest was held Sept. 17 at the Manawa Rodeo Grounds. Contestants were judged on horsemanship skills, appearance and personality. Also in consideration for the title were Shyann Nieland, Hortonville; Maranda Warbelton, Neenah; Katie Ubl, New London; Aubree Drath, Manawa; and Brittney Hogan, Clintonville, who was named 2012 Manawa Rodeo Princess

Part of Wildenberg’s responsibilities for promoting the Mid-Western Rodeo will begin with public relations work at local radio stations and The Mid-West Horse Fair in Madison. She will preside over the 2012 Manawa Lion’s Sponsored PRCA Rodeo held in Manawa on June 29, 30 and July 1.
