Winske, Raymond V.

Raymond V. Winske of Waupaca, age 86, passed away on Tuesday, November 22, 2011 at Cherry Meadows. He was born in the Town of Lind on November 27, 1924 to the late William and Lena (Timm) Winske. Ray was a dairy farmer in the Town of Lind his entire life. He enjoyed gardening, photography and taking care of his chickens. He will be sadly missed by his children: Lorie Brooks of Weyauwega; Kenneth (Diane) Winske of Waupaca; grandchildren: John Roemer of Jefferson, WI; Jami Gregory of Fremont; Craig (special friend: Liz Hegler) Winske of Fond du Lac; Beth (special friend: Sam Lark) Winske of Green Bay; great grandchildren: Brianna and Aiden Gregory, other relatives and friends. The Funeral Service was held on Saturday, November 26, 2011 at 11 a.m. at the Maple Crest Funeral Home of Waupaca, with Rev. William Jordan officiating. The visitation was on Saturday from 9 a.m. until the time of the service. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery in Weyauwega. The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff of the Fresenius Dialysis Center, Riverside Medical Center, Appleton Medical Center and Cherry Meadows Hospice and also Ray’s volunteer driver, Louie Baumgartner.
