Erickson, Jacob A.

Jacob A. Erickson, age 35, of Waupaca, WI, passed away on Friday, December 9th, 2011 at 12:44 am at Theda Clark Medical Center in Neenah, WI, due to an automobile accident that occurred Thursday, December 8, 2011. He was born in Waupaca on July 30, 1976, a son of Matthew and Shari (McPeak) Erickson. Jacob loved spending time with his family, children as well as his friends. He had a passion for playing hockey and truly loved fishing and most recently he started to really get into working on vehicles and stereo equipment. Jacob was a loving guy who had a special knack for making people laugh. He always saw the best in everybody and never judged, not one person. He is going to be greatly missed by many. Survivors include his Parents, Matthew and Shari Erickson, Waupaca, WI; Sisters: Lisa (Shannon) Mules, Waupaca, WI; Kristin (David Estrada) Erickson, Waupaca, WI; Children: Austin Erickson and his mother Kelly Fitzmaurice, Waupaca, WI; Lillian Martin and Olivia Erickson, and their mother, Emily Martin, Appleton, WI; Aunts and Uncles: Cathy (Dan) Nelson, California; Jan (Larry) Lyons, Waupaca, WI; Cindy (Steve) Christensen, Waupaca, WI; Tom (Annette) McPeak, Waupaca, WI; Julie (Vidar) Andersen, Norway; Brian (Becky) Erickson, North Carolina; Bob (Barb) Erickson, Florida; Tristan Erickson, Waupaca, WI; Ava Erickson, Nevada; Taffy Erickson, Nevada; Penny Erickson, Nevada; Special Girlfriend: Angela Anderson, Waupaca, WI. He is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Joyce and Ercel McPeak and by his paternal grandparents, Robert and Ada Erickson. Funeral Services were held at the Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca at 6 PM on Tuesday, December 13th, 2011, with Reverend Paul Stevens officiating. Visitation was held on Tuesday, from 4 PM until the time of the service at the funeral home. Interment was held at Cedar Lake Cemetery, Town of Lind, Waupaca Co., WI.
