The Waupaca Community Arts Center will hold its next Meet the Artists Night from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 19, at the center, 200 N. Main St.
The event will feature Ken Dequaine, Sue Austin and Kevin Schmoldt.
Dequaine, of Waupaca, mainly does landscape and floral photography. His work is on display at Bethany Home, where a number of WCAC artists are showing work for sale.
Austin, of Wild Rose, is known in the area for her creative baskets. See some of her work at http://www.wcacenter.com/artistpages/s_Austin/.
Schmoldt, of Iola, does portraits from photos and is taking work on commission. Examples of his work are on display at the community arts center.
The Jan. 19 Meet the Artists Night will also include live music by two WHS students – jazz pianist Stanford Mitchell and violinist Sri Izzati Soekarsono.
Light refreshments will be served.
