Hankey, Kristine Y.

Kristine Y. Hankey, age 65 of Waupaca, passed away on Sunday April 8, 2012 at her residence. Kristine was born on March 13, 1947, the daughter of Clifford and Margie (Pottorf) Garver. Kristine married Dr. Terry Hankey on May 25, 1968 in Beavercreek, OH. Kristine was a member of the Waupaca Police Commission, Waupaca City Council, and Waupaca Area Youth Hockey Association. Kristine is survived by her husband Dr. Terry Hankey of Waupaca, WI; two sons, Jason (Rhonda Deschler) Hankey of Thiensville, WI, and Murray Hankey of Chicago, IL; one daughter Wendy (Douglas) Elford- Argent of West Hollywood, CA; two grandchildren, Lila Madison Hankey and Aubrey McCallum; one sister Kathy (Philip) Hanna of Oshkosh, WI; and one brother Kurt (Sherrie) Garver, of Christiansburg, OH. Many other relatives and friends. Kristine was preceded in death by her parents Clifford and Margie Garver. In lieu of a formal ceremony and flowers, Kris wished to establish The Kristine Hankey Memorial Fund to support the Girl’s Varsity Hockey program.
