Warnke, Wesley F.

Wesley F. Warnke, age 89, of Fremont, died on Wednesday, September 5, 2012 at Riverside Medical
Center in Waupaca. He was born on July 20, 1923, in the Town of Fremont, the son of the late William
and Wilhelmina (Krueger) Warnke. Wesley served his country in the US Army. On June 22, 1957,
Wesley married Lorraine Huth at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Appleton. She preceded him in death on
August 30, 1989. Wesley owned and operated Warnke Radio and TV in Fremont for over 30 years. He
was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church in Fremont, where he was a member of the Men’s Club,
and served as the LCEF representative for many years. Wesley also volunteered many years with the
Laborers for Christ. Wesley is survived by two sons, Charles (Special friend, Pam Case) New London;
and John (Mari) , Fremont; a granddaughter, Emily; a sister, Wilma Erdman, DePere, and brothers-in-
law and sisters-in-law, Elva Warnke, Fremont; Sylvia Huth, Appleton; Don (Vivian) Huth, Appleton and
Carol (Ron) Dahlke, Appleton; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death
by four brothers, Walter (Stella), William (Vera), Werner, and Wendell (Lorraine), and a brother-in-
law, Norbert Erdman. Funeral services was held on Monday, September 10, 2012 at 11:00 AM at St.
Paul Lutheran Church, 107 Tustin Rd., Fremont. Pastor Stephen Pope will officiate. Burial will be in St.
Paul Lutheran Cemetery. Visitation was held on Monday, at the church, from 9:00 AM until the time of
service. A memorial fund has been established for St. Paul Lutheran Church, Fremont. Lewin Funeral
