The New London boys’ basketball team traveled to Seymour on Friday, Dec. 21 and returned home with a 59-48 loss.
The two teams were equally matched during the first half. Seymour held a 15-14 advantage at the end of the first quarter. Seymour extended that lead by only one point in the second quarter. Heading into halftime, Seymour led New London 28-26.
Seymour extended its lead by four points in the third quarter and pulled away in the fourth quarter. New London was outscored by five points in the fourth quarter.
New London travels to Denmark on Thursday, Jan. 3.
