Three candidates will seek election to two open school board seats, and five incumbent City Council members will seek re-election to seats will also be filled after April elections in New London.
City Council
Incumbent Robert Besaw will seek re-election in District 1, as will incumbents Tom O’Connell (District 2), Lori Dean (District 3), Rob Way (District 4), and Dave Morack (District 5).
School Board
Two School Board seats, held by incumbents John Faucher and Virginia Schlais, are up for election this year. Faucher and Schlais will both run for re-election, and will be challenged by candidate Jason Pues.
Both School Board seats have a three-year term length.
Elections will be held Tuesday, April 2.
