Ireland Griffin will reign as queen over the 6th annual Manawa Snodeo, slatedd for Feb. 15-16 at Bear Lake.
Joining Griffin on the court include: Princess Jaden Jaeger and Princess Olivia Lorge. Junior Princess will be Morgan Kanaman.
The two-day event, sponsored by the Northport Snowriders, Manawa Lions and FVTC (Appleton) will feature local and regional racers displaying their talents on the 1/3-mile oval track, two-mile lake course and 1,000-foot radar run strip.
The activities get underway on Friday, Feb 15. at 7 p.m. with “Under The Lights” oval racing and motorcycle ice racing. Spectators can also witness fireworks and a torch light parade. After the night racing on Friday, there will be a 4-wheeler exhibition.
Saturday’s events include more 1/3-mile oval racing, 2.5 mile lake cross racing, 1,000 foot radar runs and WKSRA Kitty Kat races. Non-member WKSRA Kitty Kat drivers will race during the intermission.
DJ, food and refreshments will be available all day.
Admission is $5, with 12 and under free.
AWSC 2013 Miss Snowflake, Alexus Butler will be in attendance.
