The Waupaca Area Youth Squirt B hockey team qualified for the State tournament with an exciting 3-2 win over the Oshkosh Squirt B team on February 2nd.
Sam LaMotte, Max Gusmer, and Vin Nikolai all scored goals for Waupaca with assists from Max Gusmer, Levi Olson, and Evan Saunders. Hagen Rassmussen played goalie.
The Squirt B team will head to Waupun for the state tournament on March 9th and 10th.
The Squirt team will also be hosting their annual home tournament on February 15th, 16th, and 17th at the expo center.
