The Waupaca Area Chamber of Commerce will celebrate the 25th anniversary of Strawberry Fest this summer.
As part of the celebration, the chamber invites all previous winners of the Lil’ Strawberry Sally and Sam Costume Contest to attend and enjoy one of the first pieces of strawberry shortcake.
Small children compete in the contest by wearing strawberry-themed costumes. First State Bank has been the contest sponsor since 1997.

Prior Sally and Sam contest winners who plan to attend should contact the Waupaca Area Chamber of Commerce at 715-258-7343 in advance to be registered.
The Lil’ Sally and Sam Costume Contest is open to children ages 2-5. Participants will be judged on theme, originality and personality, and the winning Sally and Sam will each be awarded a $50 U.S. Savings Bond. All contest participants will receive a free goody bag from First State Bank.
