Traffic

• April 5 – Two people were injured in a two-vehicle accident at about 3 a.m. in the town of Lebanon.

Sharon Barnick, 75, of New London, failed to yield right-of-way to a vehicle driven by Lance Gitter, 32, of New London.

After reportedly stopping at a stop sign, the vehicle driven by Barnick pulled into the path of Gitter’s vehicle, which was southbound on U.S. Highway 45. The Gitter vehicle crashed into the Barnick vehicle.

Both drivers were transported to the hospital for injuries sustained in the crash.
