New London girls lose two, earn one tie

The New London varsity soccer team lost to Ashwaubenon and Green Bay Southwest in early season action. Ashwaubenon won by a 4-0 margin, while Green Bay Southwest snuck away with a 1-0 victory.

While New London was shut out in both of those games, the team scored its first two goals of the season in a 2-2 tie with Marinette on Friday, April 25. Madison Cooley and Autumn Kloehn found the back of the net against the Marines.

If the weather doesn’t interfere, the Bulldogs are set to begin a four-game home stand next week. New London will host West De Pere at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, May 8, and will host Hortonville at 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 13.

The Bulldogs will host Luxemburg-Casco at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, May 15 and Winneconne at 4 p.m. Friday, May 16.
