It is a fundamental principle of human behavior that having an authority makes us feel good. Yes, all of us.
While instinctively we want to buck it, when the sky falls in, we run to it.
When confronted with problems, challenges, or any mess we can’t get ourselves out of, we want someone who has answers, someone who can offer support, someone who can offer a helping hand and who knows what to do.
We appreciate the Weyauwega Police Department and its unselfish service to our community. We can’t imagine how trying it must be, to be called upon to save the lives and protect the very people who are criticizing everything you do.
This also goes for all law enforcement personnel; we appreciate what you do.
