Garden Walk, Art Show in Iola

Rosenbergers’ eighth annual Garden Walk & Art Show will be held from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, June 22.

The free event is held at the Randy and Carolyn Rosenberger residence located 1 1/2 miles northeast of Iola’s Glacier Woods Golf Course on the north corner of Hatch Lake Road and County Road G.

Guests are invited to stroll by the many gardens containing trees, bushes, annual and perennial flowers within the five-acre area, as well as metal sculptures, water features and other landscape attractions.

They may also sign up for door prizes while touring Carolyn’s painting studio, and need not be present to win. Carolyn will also be offering a sale on her watercolor paintings.

This year there will be 12 local artisans displaying and selling their work. They are:Mike Harbridge, ceramics; Lynn Groeschl, Victorian soaps and body lotions; Gerald Lee Johnson, woven rag rugs; Merlin Meyer, carved wood sculptures; Randy Rosenberger, nature photography; Charlene Reiter, garden flower art and Kitchen Klinker wind chimes; Carolyn Rosenberger, watercolors; Jodie Schmoldt, Handmade candies; Phyllis Shidell, recycled glass garden ornaments; Shiloh Rosenberger, felt flower hair accessories; Marie Skowen, cement leaf lawn ornaments; Wayne Stabnow, photography.

The public is invited to enjoy nature’s beauty, and help Randy celebrate his successful liver and kidney transplant.
