Michael G. Kitzman, age 63 of Big Falls, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, August 30, 2014 at his residence. 

Mike was born on June 23, 1951 in Iola, the son of the late Gerhardt and Barbara (Bertch) Kitzman. He graduated from Marion High School in 1969. Mike later worked at Marion Hardware, the F.W.D. Corporation (now Seagrave Fire Apparatus), Clintonville and in 1970 worked at Frontier Communications, Clintonville until retirement in 2013. Mike enjoyed hobby farming (cash cropping), fishing, hunting and socializing with his family and friends in his garage. 

Survivors include: his sisters, Judy Kitzman, Big Falls; Marsha Kitzman, Manawa and Laura “Babe” (Tom) Knitt, Westby; his brother, Randy Kitzman, Big Falls; his niece, Tara Kitzman, Manawa; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents. 

With respect to the requests of Mike and the Kitzman family, no services will be held. The Eberhardt-Stevenson Funeral Home & Crematory, Marion is assisting his family with the arrangements. An online guest book may be signed at www.eberhardtstevenson.com
