Truckers host NL at track meet

The Clintonville Truckers track teams hosted a five team invitational track meet on Thursday, April 30.

Clintonville topped both the boys and girls team scores in the meet.

Team scores

The Truckers scored first place with 170 team points, New London finished second with 109, Wrightstown took third with 104, Gresham Community/Bowler-58, St. Mary Central-52, and Winnebago Lutheran Academy-29.

The Truckers boys’ team earned first place with 149 points, St. Mary Central took second place with 111, Wrightstown finished third with 104, New London finished fourth with 100 points, Gresham Community/Bowler had 78, and Winnebago Lutheran Academy had 10.

Girls’ relay events

The Truckers 4×800 meter relay team earned 10 team points with their first place finish in 10:45.63. New London finished third in the event earning six team points with a time of 11:20.84.

The Bulldog relay 4×200 relay team earned 10 team points with a first place time of 2:02.10.

The Clintonville girls 4×100 relay team earned 10 team points with a first place finish in 53.75. New London finished third in the event in 57.38 seconds and earned six team points.

The Truckers 4×400 relay team earned 10 team points with a first place finish in 4:25.47. New London earned six team points in the event and finished third with a time of 4:37.89.

Girls’ individual events

Clintonville’s Chrissy Betz scored 10 team points with a first place finish in the 100-meter hurdles with a time of 16.74. New London’s Cassidy Pethke scored eight points in her second place finish in 17.34. Anna Huested scored four team points for NL with a fourth place finish in 17.87.

Jessie Barker of Clintonville earned 10 team points in the 100-meter dash with a first place finish in 13.45. Teammate Emma Weatherwax earned four team points with her fourth place finish in 13.74, and Autumn Voight scored two team points with her fifth place finish in 14.10.

Clintonville’s Jessica Petruzates scored 10 team points in the 1600 meter run with her first place finish in 5:47.81. Teamates Taylor Young finished second in 5:50.28 for eight team points, and Jordan Tellock finished third in 5:56.40 for six team points.

New London’s Candice Zehner earned 10 team points with her first place finish in the 300-meter hurdles in 51.87. Teammate’s Cassidy Pethke earned eight team points with her second place finish in 52.91, and Anna Huested earned four team points with her fourth place finish in 54.64.

Lady Trucker Allison Johnson finished first place in the 800-meter run in 2:22.40 and scored 10 team points. New London’s Muriel Metko finished fifth in the event in 3:08.50, earning two team points.

Clintonville’s Jessie Barker took first place in the 200-meter dash in 28.52 seconds scoring 10 team points. Teammate Allison LeNoble earned one team point with her sixth place finish in the event in 33.49.

New London’s Courney Carpenter earned four team points in the 200 meter with her fourth place finish in 31.35.

The Truckers won the first two places in the 3200-meter event. Jessica Petruzates finished first with a time of 12:41.11. Jordan Tellock finished second in 13:06.74. New London’s Calista Wenzel finished the event in third with a time of 13:57.19.

Allison Johnson won 10 team points for Clintonville with her first place finish in the girls’ high jump with a height of 5-01.00. New London’s Shannon Cross finished second with a height of 4-06.00.

Clintonville’s Chrissy Betz and Autumn Voight finished the girls pole vault event in second and third place. Betz cleared 9 feet and Voight cleared 7 feet.

Bulldog Cassidy Pethke cleared 7 feet for fourth place in the pole vault.

Chrissy Betz (CL) earned 10 team points and first place in the girls’ long jump with a jump of 14-11.75. Teammate Jesse Barker finished in third place with a jump of 14-04.00, and Lacey Jung finished in sixth place with a jump of 13-01.50.

New London’s Candice Zehner finished the long jump event in fifth place with a jump of 13-08.00, earning two team points.

New London’s Bailey Briner earned one team point with her sixth place distance of 25-03.00 in the girls’ triple jump.

Lady Bulldogs Abigail Dorow and Jade Huntley scored eight and six team points respectively with their second and third place finishes in the discus throw. Dorow finished second with 86-11, and Huntley finished third with 82-04. Teammate Josie Ruckdashel picked up one team point finishing sixth place with a throw of 69-11.

Clintonville’s Lacey Jung won the girls’ shot put event with a throw of 31-09.00. New London’s Jade Huntley took fourth place with a throw of 28-09.00.

Boys’ relay events

The Bulldog boys’ 4×800-meter relay team earned 10 team points with their first place finish in 9:26.91. Clintonville finished in second place with a time of 9:30.05.

New London won the boys’ 4×200-meter relay event with a time of 1:35.61. New London also won the boys’ 4×400-meter relay with a time of 3:44.12. Clintonville finished in third place with a time of 4:05.54.

Clintonville’s 4×100-meter relay team earned 10 points with their first place finish in 46.52. New London earned eight team points with their second place finish in 47.59.

Boys’ individual

Clintonville’s Todd Taylor and Skyler Lehman finished the boys’ 100-meter dash in first and second place respectively with times of 11.41 and 11.58 collectively earning 18 team points. New London’s Conner Hoell finished the event in fourth place with a time of 11.73, earning four team points.

Clintonville’s Andrew Klemp earned two team points in the 110-meter hurdles, with his fifth place finish in 19.64. Bulldog Ryne Goedderz earned one team point with his sixth place finish in the event with a time of 19.88.

In the boys’ 1600-meter run, Thomas Miller of Clintonville earned 10 team points with a first place finish in 4:39.99. Teammate Trent Marheine earned six team points with a third place finish in 5:08.21. New London Landon Overesch earned one team point with a sixth place finish in 5:17.82.

Clintonville’s Joshua Kutchenriter earned six team points in the 400-meter dash with his third place finish in 57.89.

New London’s Ryan Watling earned 10 team points with his first place finish in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:14.84. Teammate Marty Metko earned two team points with his fifth place finish in 2:24.24. Clintonville’s Jarren Vanman earned one team point with a sixth place finish in 2:25.93.

Clintonville’s Todd Taylor earned 10 team points with his first place finish in the 200-meter dash in 23.82 seconds. New London’s Shane Borree earned four team points with a fourth place finish in 25.43, and Trucker Joshua Kutchenriter earned two team points with his fifth place finish in 26.31.

New London’s Blake Spilman earned two team points in the 300-meter hurdle event finishing in fifth place with a time of 50.51.

Truckers Thomas Miller and Trent Marheine earned team points in the boys 3200-meter run. Miller finished first place in 10:16.37 and Marheine finished in 11:12.50 for fourth place. New London’s Schyler Garza finished in third place with a time of 10:55.22.

Clintonville’s Skyler Lehman earned 10 team points and finished in first place in the high jump with a height of 5-08.00. New London’s Eric Driebel earned one team point and finished in sixth place with a height of 5-00.00.

Skyler Lehman (CL) won the boys’ pole vault event with a height of 12 feet. Teammates Andrew Klemp finished fifth with a height of 8-06.00 and Chase Jung finished sixth with a height of 8-06.00.

New London’s Jonah Backus earned six team points and finished the pole vault event in third place with a height of 10-06.00.

Bulldog Nick Thomas earned eight team points with his second place finish in the long jump, reaching a distance of 20-03.50. Clintonville’s Joshua Schroeder earned four team points in the event with his fourth place jump of 17-00.75.

Clintonville’s Todd Taylor earned 10 team points with his first place finish in the triple jump event with a distance of 42-01.25. New London’s Ryan Watling earned six team points for third place with 39-03.00 and Shane Borree earned four team points with a jump of 38-09.00.

Clintonville’s Nick Raash earned eight team points in the boys discus throw with his second place throw of 111-10. Teammate Tyler Colla earned one team point with his sixth place throw of 91-04.

New London’s Jack Noffke earned six team points in the shot put event with his third place throw of 37-08.00. Clintonville’s Chase Poppe earned four team points with his fourth place throw of 37-01.50.
