Ferge, Tina M.

Tina M. Ferge, age 50 of Clintonville, passed away Sunday morning, September 13, 2015 at her home following a battle with cancer.

Tina was born on January 22, 1965 in Oconto Falls, WI. She was the daughter of Claire and Elaine (Paholke) Hertwig. As a young girl at the age of 6, Tina moved with her family from Gillett to New London where she graduated from high school in 1983. After graduation Tina was united in marriage to Rick Ferge on November 3, 1984. The couple had a son, Justin, and later divorced. Shortly after, Tina was united in love to Doug Moldenhauer, spending the past 27 years together. Early on, Tina worked for the New London Hospital in the cafeteria, then Marly’s Restaurant and later Hillshire Farms in New London for 10 years. Most recently though, Tina enjoyed working as a sales rep for Kolosso Toyota in Appleton where she met lots of friends, both co-workers and clients. She was a current member of Christus Lutheran Church in Clintonville and in her younger years served as Den Mother for the Boy Scouts. She loved her flowers and earned a black belt in Taekwondo. She was a wonderful mother and daughter who was beautiful inside and out. Her smile was contagious, she was always optimistic, and loved visiting with people.

Survivors include: her son, Justin (Ileen) Ferge, Weyauwega; parents, Claire and Elaine Hertwig, Gillett; soulmate and best friend, Doug Moldenhauer, Clintonville; brother, Jonathan Hertwig, Arizona; nephew, Jonathan (fiancée, Brianna) Hertwig Jr., Arizona; nieces, Krissi Hertwig and Heather (Jay) Hughes, Arizona. Tina was preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents.

Memorial services will be held Saturday, September 19, 2015 at 11 a.m. at Christus Lutheran Church in Clintonville with Rev. Brian Crocker officiating. Friends may call at the church on Saturday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service. The Eberhardt-Stevenson Funeral Home & Crematory of Clintonville is assisting her family with the arrangements. Tina’s family would like to extend their sincere appreciation to the staff at Heartland Hospice, nurses at St. Elizabeth Hospital, as well as to her friends and colleagues at Kolosso for their support and care shown to Tina.
