Feltz

Police took an infant into protective custody after the mother overdosed on heroin.

Three Weyauwega residents were subsequently arrested on drug-related felony charges.

Alisha L. Feltz, 23, is charged with possession of heroin, child neglect, three counts of felony bail jumping and carrying a concealed weapon.

Dillan J. Young, 24, is charged with delivery and possession of heroin, drug trafficking and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Allisa J. Guyette, 21, is charged with drug trafficking, possession of heroin and possession of drug paraphernalia.

On Nov. 16, 2015, Feltz was in court on a charge of delivery of heroin. She was released from custody on a $5,000 signature bond with the condition that she no possess any drugs and not commit any crimes.

Shortly after 1:30 p.m. Friday, Jan. 15, Weyauwega Police Chief Gerold Poltrock responded to a call from the Weyauwega BP station that a woman was in a parked car, unconscious, not breathing and without a pulse.

When Poltrock arrived, paramedics were treating the woman, later identified as Feltz. They administered Narcan and about one minute later she opened her eyes. She was then taken to the hospital in Waupaca.

Wisconsin State Trooper Kendi Linjer reported finding a needle and a bindle of heroin in Feltz’s pocket.

Guyette, who had been driving the car in which Feltz was found, reportedly said Feltz had injected heroin at her house a short time earlier. She also told police that Feltz’s child was still at the house.

Poltrock and other officers then went to Guyette’s home. Young answered the door. Police reported that Young appeared to have fresh needle marks in his right arm.

Cpl. Adam Rogge found a 2-month-old infant in a car seat on the living room floor. He also found a small metal container with liquid residue, four folded pieces of aluminum foil, two used cotton swabs and five used syringes in the living room.

According to the criminal complaint, Feltz, Guyette and Young injected heroin. Guyette nodded off, then came to and noticed that Feltz’s lips were blue and she was not talking.

Young and Guyette then carried Feltz to her car and Guyette attempted to drive Feltz to the hospital in Waupaca. By the time she had travelled four blocks, Feltz’s condition had worsened, so Guyette pulled into the BP parking lot and called 911.

After Feltz was examined and released from the hospital, she was taken to the county jail for questioning.

Feltz reportedly told investigators that Young and Guyette gave her a bindle of heroin in exchange for her allowing them to use her car to go to Green Bay to buy heroin.

Feltz’s infant was also taken to the hospital for examination and medically cleared before being placed in protective custody.

Young denied dealing heroin from his apartment. Young remains in custody on a $10,000 cash bond.

Feltz was released from jail on Tuesday, Jan. 19, on a $10,000 signature bond.

On Nov. 16, 2015, Feltz was in court on a charge of delivery of heroin. She was released from custody on a $5,000 signature bond with the condition that she no possess any drugs and not commit any crimes.

Sadness, when will people wake up and learn? You have been given life, not all are so lucky, and you are wasting that gift.

Why do they keep getting out on signature bonds? Let them sit until they can come up with the actually money for bond…

    I just think it’s sad.

Rehabilitation should not cost as much as it does. Starlets can go to a glorified spa to get clean, meanwhile the working poor are reduced to jail cells.

    Disgusting.

This is pretty much a weekly occurrences happening here in ghettowega it nothing new. Only thing changes are the people involved.

  19. Rebecca HK Burow 20 January, 2016 at 16:32 Reply

They all need help and Waupaca county doesn’t want to deal with them, so they let them out on signature bonds and hope they go to another county to commit their next crime. These people never learn until they hit rock bottom. I’ll bet you that that woman was using when she was pregnant.

So many of these posts lately I just wanna put this out there I’ve got almost 14 months sober and yes it started with wanting too change I always read this and I never wanna say anything because there are so many people that want too run off at the mouth rather then try and help the problems. It’s not easy I won’t lie but its possible and for less then what you spend in a day on a fix there are clinics with groups and counseling and help period. I know alot of these kids/addicts friends look at these posts and read the comments so here is a way too try and help at least one other person.. Valley health services 9207334443 ask for an intake counselor what do any of you have too lose it really doesn’t cost as much as you would think and there are ways too find rides there people who wanna help too fight this problem instead of making it worse!

Believe it or not she was. And lied to everyone. Went to the clinic 2 months before she had him so that way she could be clean of heroine. I thought she was better than that. Guess not. You belong in jail Alisha and don’t deserve that baby . Women Using while pregnant should be prosecuted. Attempted murder

I guess most of these posts come from people do not know what it is like to have an addiction. Let me ask you, do you drink alcohol every weekend. You are an addict. Let’s have some compassion and empathy. Let the lord Jesus help the mother and most importantly the child.

Lock them up and throw away the key !!! Not harsh enough consequences …

  32. Megan Kolosso 20 January, 2016 at 17:32 Reply

I dont actually know where this was because the call came in from the BP near me but it didn’t happen there originally. And it was not in the two apartment complexes where we reside but it was in Weyauwega, the town obviously. Kelly Polsin and I don’t recognize anyone’s name but the Dillian young who I went to school with possibly many years ago, but then again I thought he was my age or older and this guy is younger by like 3 years. But I did hear about this 🙁 poor kid and no other words need to be said.

I think Wega PD has been doing a great job of trying to get the heroin problem under wraps but sadly many people seem to still want to do heroin even after watching their friends or family members suffer the consequences of these choices. They have to WANT help to actually get help and sadly many on heroin don’t want help because they can’t admit to anyone (or themselves) that they have a problem. We desperately need a rehab facility in Waupaca County because jail is NOT the answer. Idk who in their right mind would be like oh I think I’ll try heroin even though my best friend Joe Schmo got arrested last week on heroin charges and I see how badly Joe has messed up his life, lost his job, lost friends, lost his kids, etc. But I still think heroin sounds like a cool high, let’s try. SMH I guess I just don’t understand because I see all of those who HAVE tried heroin and how quickly their lives have gone down the crapper. I’d never in my lifetime consider it to be something to “just try once” cuz we all know once is MORE than enough to get you hooked.
We also need some Waupaca county judges who don’t continuously give a slap on the wrist or let people out on ANOTHER signature bond after already failing at the original signature bond. We need a facility that judges can order them to so they can get help and get their lives back on track because allowing this is just letting them out to go do it again. Also these people need family members who are WILLING to step in to give support to these addicts and help them get rides to clinics or outpatient rehab services. So so sad. And that poor innocent baby. 🙁

I grew up in Waupaca Co. and have lived and worked in Milwaukee Co. Human Services for over 20 years. Never in my life did I think my hometown could become hit by this epidemic as badly as it by has. I currently serve this population in Milwaukee County and proud to say we offer several treatment programs for men and women that are County funded. It’s very sad to me that this isn’t the same Statewide or even countrywide.

I am however very impressed that the officers are carrying and trained on Narcan because that responding officer more than likely saved that young woman’s life.

Heroin is no longer an inner city minority issue…it is a suburban or rural, caucasion 20-30somethin age group mostly and coming from middle class families and they are dying daily. I could start my list of names of those we’ve lost just this past year.

We need to EDUCATE our communities.. Schools, parents, church’s…everyone before it’s too late.

  49. Heather M. Hayes 20 January, 2016 at 22:32 Reply

Mike, junkies make the choice to start drugs rather than saying no & making the choice to see a counselor to actually heal! It’s a choice!
