Luedke, Goetsch win in Weyauwega

Ward 3 elects write-in candidate
Richard Luedke and Bruce Goetsch both won seats on the Weyauwega Common Council in the Tuesday, April 5 election.
In the city’s Ward 1, Luedke and Ben Ebert ran to replace Bruce Brunner, who did not seek re-election.
Luedke received 79 votes, and Ebert received 75 votes.
In Ward 3, Goetsch and Holly Martin ran as write-in candidates to succeed Scott Rasmussen, who also did not seek re-election.
Goetsch received 68 votes, and Martin received 43 votes.
In Weyauwega’s Ward 2, Shani Appleby ran unopposed for a second term on the council and received 142 votes.
