Eileen Pierce died at Bethany Home on April 12, 2016.
She was born on February 13, 1915, in Chicago and grew up in Viroqua, Wisconsin; resided in Eau Claire, Wisconsin between 1940 and 1974, she then lived in Sun City, Arizona and the past decade in Waupaca. She will be laid to rest alongside her husband, Arthur B. Pierce, at King’s Veteran Cemetery.
She is preceded in death by her husband, and sisters, Rachael Lavold and Helen Fincher, both previous residents of Waupaca. She is survived by her son, Jon (Janet) Pierce; three grandchildren (Tanya Rude, Eric Pierce, and Sarah Pierce), step-granddaughter (Shawn Ondricek), seven great-grandchildren; nephews, Dan (Donna) and David (Mary) Lavold, along with their children, Kim and Chris, Jenna and Scott Lavold and their families.
The memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, April 23, 2016 at the Maple Crest Funeral Home.
