William M. Aylward, 71, of Cherry Valley, IL passed away Saturday, July 16, 2016.
Born Septemeber 26, 1944 in Clintonville, WI. Son of James R. and Bernice A. (Lancer) Aylward. Veteran of the United States Army National Guard. Employed by Althoff Industries as an Electrician for 28 years retiring in 2005. Member of the IBEW Local 364. Married Dianna Puddicombe on May 31, 1992. Together they shared 24 years of marriage. He enjoyed woodworking, golfing and gardening. Was a handyman, a big fan of auto racing and was a jack of all trades.
Survivors include wife, Dianna; children, Mary Jane “Molly” (Greg) Ballou, Richard (Samantha) Aylward, Sarah Babcock, Deborah Johnson, Ivory (Jack)Bergeron, Timothy (Nan) Johnson, James Johnson; 19 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; siblings, James Aylward of Scottsdale, AZ and Patricia Franklin of Monona, WI. Predeceased by his parents and great-grandchild, Damian.
