By Greg Seubert

Pacelli may have had the most consistent boys’ golf team this season in the Central Wisconsin Conference, but Manawa had the top golfer.

Ryan Schuelke carded a 3-over 75 May 17 to lead all golfers at the CWC Meet at The Creeks of Ivy Acres.

That medalist round helped the Wolves place fifth out of 10 teams. Pacelli placed first with a 347, followed by Amherst (375), Iola-Scandinavia (388), Bonduel (400), Manawa (423), Marion (434), Wittenberg-Birnamwood (438), Weyauwega-Fremont (441) and Menominee Indian/Gresham (118). Shiocton did not field a full team.

Jon Bauer led Iola-Scandinavia with a 90, followed by Cody Breitzke and Justin Krause (92), Connor Drath (114) and Carter Przybylski (116).

Other scores for Manawa were Connor Schuelke (107), Seth Forbes (109) and Zach Kriesel (132).

Noah Rucks led Weyauwega-Fremont with a 98, while other scores for the Indians were Logan Witt (109), Breanna Weiland (115), Dylan Wilson (119) and Logan Kicherer (122).

With the win, Pacelli also wrapped up the overall CWC championship. Iola-Scandinavia finished second, followed by Amherst, Bonduel, Manawa, Wittenberg-Birnamwood, Menominee Indian/Gresham, Marion, Weyauwega-Fremont and Shiocton.
