John D. Andrews (Dan), age 73, of Waupaca, WI passed away on Wednesday, August 2, 2017 at his residence.

Dan was born in Waupaca on July 24, 1944, the son of the late Dr. Clifford and Olive (Danielson) Andrews. On December 10, 1966, Dan married Judy Phelps in Belvidere, IL and she preceded him in death on October 7, 2008. He loved photography, watching movies, the Packers and especially classic cars. He was a previous member of the Waupaca Rod & Classic car club and was a very generous donor to the American Cancer Society, St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital and William’s Syndrome. He served in the U.S. Army.

Dan is survived by his children: Vicki (Scott) Rosendahl, Oshkosh; SMSgt (Ret) John (Sharon) Andrews, Temple, TX and Sheri (Dean Smith) Gotto, Waupaca; his grandchildren: SrA Scott (Justine) Rosendahl, Anchorage, AK; Casey Rosendahl, Cottage Grove, WI; SPC Nate Rosendahl, Neenah, WI; Jake Andrews, Onalaska, WI; SrA Dan Andrews, Oshkosh, WI; Corey Andrews, Temple, TX; Alex, Nick and Emily Gotto, Waupaca; his great-grandchildren: Evan, Jack and Kaia Rosendahl and his sisters, Patsy Whitney, Berrien Springs, MI and Bonnie Bronk, South Bend, IN. Dan is also survived by two sisters-in-law, a brother-in-law, other relatives and friends.

The Funeral Service will be on Tuesday, August 8 at 11 a.m. at the Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca with Pastor Jeff Fletcher, officiating. Burial will follow in Park Cemetery, Town of St. Lawrence, Wisconsin. Visitation will be on Monday evening from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Holly Funeral Home in Waupaca is assisting the family with arrangements.
