Colette A. Hanke of Waupaca, age 66, passed away on Monday, September 18, 2017.
She was born in Berlin on March 24, 1951 to the late Stephen and Veronica (Wicks) Treder. Colette worked for many years at the Wisconsin Veterans Home in food service. She also enjoyed being in sales with Tupperware and Avon. Colette devoted her life to taking care of her family, they were most important to her.
She will be sadly missed by her husband, Shane; sons: Vern (Laurie) Smith of New London, Gary (fiancée, Alyssa Rice) Smith of Waupaca, Robert (Rachel) Smith of CO; daughter, Kate (Travis) Flatoff of Stevens Point; grandchildren: Taylor, Hunter, Bodee, Maison, Mccaulley, Aubree, Kayleigh, Sam and Eli; siblings: Steve (Carolyn) Treder, Joyce (Leroy) Petit, Art (Pam) Treder all of Berlin; Rosalie Treder of Oshkosh; James (Sue) Treder of Berlin; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Robert and Elaine Hanke; special family friend, Tim; many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by brothers, Vernon and Bobby; goddaughter, Sherri Lynn and granddaughter, Katie.
The Funeral Service will be on Friday, September 22, 2017 at 11 a.m. at the Maple Crest Funeral Home of Waupaca. The visitation will be on Thursday from 5 until 7 p.m. and again on Friday from 10 a.m. until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers a memorial has been established.
