Korleski, Clifford “Butch” C.

Clifford “Butch” C. Korleski, age 85, passed away on Wednesday, December 6, 2017 in Cape Coral, FL.

He was born March 31, 1932 in Wild Rose, WI, son of Harry and Elsie (Opperman) Korleski. Butch graduated in 1950 from Wild Rose High School and went on to serve in the U.S. Air Force from July 20, 1950 – November 30, 1954. He served as a security policeman stationed in England during the Korean Conflict. On June 8, 1953, Butch married Janice Rogers in Wautoma, WI and together they raised three children. Through his working years, Butch worked as a logger, sawyer, skinner, carpenter, farmer, welder, sorghum maker, and pilot. He really was a “jack of all trades.” Butch was an avid outdoorsman, and enjoyed fishing and flying. He was a pain in the dupa to many, but loved by all. Butch will be dearly missed by all of his loving family and many friends.

Butch is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Janice Korleski of Wild Rose, WI; three children, Raymond (Debbie) Korleski of Tombstone, AZ; Patricia (Michael) Weiland of Wild Rose, WI, and Wanda (Jeffery) Lallier of Fond du Lac, WI; seven grandchildren, Victoria Rowley of Waupaca, WI; Bethany Korleski of San Antonio, TX; Joshua Hoffland of Wild Rose, WI; Brian (Melissa) Hoffland of Waupaca, WI; Philip (Spencer Fellnor) Hoffland of Appleton, WI; Nichole (Scott) Blanck of Fond du Lac, WI, and Jesse Lallier of Fond du Lac, WI; ten great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and three brothers, Gerald (Patricia) Korleski of Wild Rose, WI; George (Mary) Korleski of Wild Rose, WI, and Arthur (Marge) Korleski of Wild Rose, WI. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Elsie Korleski; a brother, Harry Korleski Jr.; and a sister, Alice Williams.

A Funeral Service will be on Saturday, December 16, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at the Holly Funeral Home, 630 County Road G and H, Wild Rose, WI. Full military honors will follow the service on Saturday. A visitation will be held on Saturday from 11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. at the Holly Funeral Home. The Holly Funeral Home of Wild Rose is assisting the family with arrangements.
