Douglas R. Pirk, age 48, passed away on August 18, 2018 at Seton Williamson Medical Center in Austin, Texas.
He was born on January 4, 1970 to Richard and Karen (Johnson) Pirk.
He is survived by his wife, Jenn; son, Brendan; step-daughters, Amanda and Olivia; parents, Richard and Karen; brother, Daniel (Michelle) Pirk; nephews, Thomas and Dennis; aunts, uncles, cousin, other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his brother, Donald; grandparents, Marvin and Joyce Pirk, David C. and Helen Johnson.
He never owned a new vehicle, but he and Jenn spent many trips on his new Harley Davidson traveling the back roads of Texas. He also rode with his old group of guys to the Grand Canyon and North Dakota. He has seen much of the world with the exception of Asia. He was a lover of music and song that he shared with his son. He lived his life on his own terms.
There will be a celebration of life at a later date.
