Chariana Beth (Dusenbery) Newby, age 41 of Waupaca, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 14, 2018 surrounded by family.
She was born March 7, 1977 in Anchorage, Alaska to Cinthia Clark-Wey (Dake/Morey family of Waupaca) and Paul Dusenbery. She was married to her soulmate, Christian Newby on July 11, 2009. She was a 2016 graduate of Mid-State Technical College where she completed her nursing degree, and subsequently received her RN licensure. Chari had an extensive career in healthcare that she was very proud of, and more importantly, where she gained many close friends. She had an uncanny ability to reach people in a deep and positive way, and her love for her children, husband, family and friends was beyond measure. Chari had the most nurturing touch, and her crazy laugh and quick-wit endeared her to all that knew her.
She is survived by her husband Christian; his children, Cain, Jesse, and Keeley Newby and her children, Mariah, Byron and Queen; her mother, Cindy; her sisters, Jennifer, Kami and Jolene; and her husband’s father, Lydel Newby Sr.; many brothers and sisters and in-laws, nieces and nephews on both sides of her family that loved her dearly.
Cremation services were provided by AJ Holly & Sons, Waupaca, WI. Chari’s celebration of life gathering was held at the Waupaca Convention Center, Par 4 Resort, 201 Foxfire Drive, Wuapaca, WI 54981, in the Fairway Room on October 27, 2018 between the hours of 10 a.m. – 3 p.m.
