A Waupaca County squad car was struck by an alleged drunk driver for the second time in just over a week.
At 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 1. a deputy was driving on State Highway 22 when the driver of another vehicle failed to stop at the stop sign on Symco Road.
The driver was arrested for operating a vehicle while intoxicated, fourth offense.
Nobody was injured in the crash.
CORRECTION: A prior version of this story indicated it was the driver’s fourth offense in five years. The sheriff’s office has since corrected that information.
