Waupaca County sheriff’s report Dec. 10

• Dec. 9 – Seymour woman reported receiving a text from her mother in Manawa that read, “Do a welfare check, everything is not OK.” When she called, her brother answered the phone, then hung up. She said her brother has abused their parents in the past.

• Dec. 9 – An elderly man, County Trunk QQ, Waupaca, called 911 to find out the date and time. Dispatch advised him not to dial 911 for non-emergencies again.

• Dec. 9 – A possible drug overdose was reported in Manawa. The woman who took the drugs was conscious, but could not say the kind of drugs or the quantity.

• Dec. 9 – A New London caller reported receiving a text about having sex. The message originated from a phone number associated with two different people from two different towns in Waupaca County.

• Dec. 9 – Waupaca caller reported finding illegal fireworks while clearing out her soon-to-be-ex-husband’s belongings.

• Dec. 9 – Caller reported five males dressed all in black were messing with the ATM at Premier Community Bank on Furman Drive, Waupaca.

• Dec. 9 – Taco Bell, New London, reported a customer keeps calling the store, yelling and swearing.

• Dec. 9 – Caller from the 800 block of South Main Street, Waupaca, reported an intoxicated man came to their door, asking for help with his car, but they could not see the car when they looked outside.

• Dec. 8 – Kwik Trip, County Trunk QQ, Waupaca, reported a woman stole beverages from the coffee area and placed them inside her purse.

• Dec. 8 – Caller from the N1700 block of County Trunk E, Waupaca, reported someone jimmied the hood of her car. Nothing was missing.

• Dec. 7 – Caller from the 1800 block of Pershing Road, New London, reported finding drug paraphernalia belonging to his daughter.

• Dec. 7 – Caller from the E1300 block of Dayton Road, Waupaca, reported her daughter lost her iPhone while walking between Waupaca Middle School and the elementary school. She believes someone found it because the iPhone locator shows movement.

• Dec. 7 – Caller from E2000 block of King Road, Farmington, reported an estimated $100 in cash and a gift card were stolen from her coat pocket.

• Dec. 7 – Fleet Farm, Waupaca, reported detaining a 53-year-old woman for shoplifting.

• Dec. 7 – Subway, West Fulton Street, Waupaca, reported an ex-employee came to pick up his last check and stole $40 from another employee’s purse.

• Dec. 7 – Caller from the 700 block of South Main Street, Waupaca, reported the Christmas display in their front yard had been vandalized.

• Dec. 7 – Little Caesar’s, East Badger Street, Waupaca, reported a driver struck an employee’s vehicle, then drove away.

• Dec. 6 – Manawa caller said he received an email asking for money and claiming to have hacked his account.

• Dec. 6 – Weekendz, County Trunk W, Readfield, reported ongoing vandalism at the bar and grill.

• Dec. 6 – Caller from the E7400 block of Nietzke Road, Clintonville, reported her husband’s credit card was stolen.

• Dec. 6 – Caller from the 800 block of Berlin Street, Waupaca, reported an unauthorized purchase was made with his credit card and delivery to his home was scheduled for Dec. 7. He said he believes the suspect may be watching his home waiting for the delivery.

• Dec. 6 – Clintonville caller reported a scammer contacted her 79-year-old mother and was able to obtain her Social Security number and bank account numbers.

• Dec. 5 – Pantry Cafe, New London, reported a man had returned to the restaurant after he was kicked out the prior day. He orders a meal, then leaves without paying.

• Dec. 5 – Caller from the 700 block of Seventh Street, Waupaca, reported he was requested to check on his elderly neighbor. He could see his neighbor through the window, but he is not moving and does not answer the phone or the door.

• Dec. 4 – New London caller reported a man with a restraining order, prohibiting him from being on her property, was at her house asking to be taken to the hospital.

• Dec. 4 – Caller from County Trunk K, Waupaca, reported a man with whom she recently ended a relationship had pointed a gun at his head, threatening to harm himself.
