Number of years as head coach: 19th season.

Returning varsity athletes: Kate Christian (12), Tess Ruckdashel (11), Morgan Iverson (12), Megan Pankow (12), Meghan Besaw (11), Mariah Herter (12), Mikayla Henderson (10).

Team goals/expectations: We expect to be a competitive team that challenges for the conference championship.

Team’s strengths: Quickness, ability to score and shoot, length.

Team’s weaknesses: Size and rebounding, experience playing with each other.

Biggest games on the schedule: Game against Freedom at the Kress Center and games against Shawano, who is picked to win the conference.

What would make for a successful season: Continued growth throughout the season, competitive play and an exciting tournament run.

Why fans should be excited for this year’s team: We will play an exciting style of basketball and look to score points as quickly as possible. Try to be aggressive on both sides of the floor.
