Event celebrates women’s creativity
Chick Night will begin at 7 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 26, at Little Fat Gretchen’s, in downtown Waupaca.
Sponsored by the Waupaca Community Arts Board, Chick Night is a bi-annual celebration of women’s creativity.
Tickets will be $10 at the door.
Dinner will be available until 7 p.m., with desserts and beverages available throughout the evening.
The evening’s featured performer will be Erin Krebs.
The jazz/blues vocalist will be accompanied by guitarist Jeff Johnston.
The evening will also include songs by Barb Achten, Astarte Kunz, Arian Marchard, Connie Tomski and Marci Beaucoup.
Entertainment will continue with Acacia Rank playing a piano solo.
A skit by Barb Laedtke and Monica Reeves will follow the piece.
Susan Talarico and Lenora Janssen will perform a dance.
Jane “Tree” Peterson will read her poetry.
Adriana Saavedra-Koll and Shannon Anderson will bring spoken words to those attending.
The evening will be interactive with attendees participating in a project, as well as a group song.
