Waupaca County sheriff’s report March 11

• March 10 – Caller from the E4300 block of Sunnyview Road, Waupaca, reported a barn collapsed and their son may be trapped beneath the rubble. Shortly after the Waupaca fire trucks left the station, they were informed the son was not in the barn. Nobody was injured.

• March 10 – Caller from the 200 block of North Main Street, Waupaca, reported her neighbor threatened to kick her butt over a parking spot.

• March 10 – Caller from the 100 block of West Lake Street, Waupaca, reported a 28-year-old man was having outbursts of rage, yelling, swearing and punching a tree.

• March 10 – Caller from the N300 block of Marten Road, Fremont, requested a welfare check on a neighbor who normally takes his dogs out several times a day but had not been seen for weeks. The neighbor’s truck was parked in the driveway, which had not been plowed.

• March 10 – Caller from the 300 block of Granite Street, Waupaca, reported a live power line down in the snow.

• March 10 – New London caller reported a 64-year-old friend had borrowed his 1999 Toyota Sienna to go buy cigarettes and had not returned after three hours.

• March 9 – Cellphone caller reported a man was staggering down West Fulton Street, Waupaca, near Kwik Trip.

• March 9 – Highway 22 Storage, Waupaca, reported a pile of garbage was illegally dumped on the ground. In the garbage, mail was found with the names of former renters who had been evicted.

• March 9 – New London caller reported her 14-year-old son never showed up to a birthday party the previous night and was now missing.

• March 9 – Embarrass caller reported receiving death threats on social media.

• March 9 – Piggly Wiggly, Shawano Street, New London, reported a hit-and-run in its parking lot.

• March 9 – Caller from County Trunk E, Waupaca, reported a man had been standing outside her home the prior night. She told him to leave and he did. Dispatch advised that she should have reported the man immediately so police could respond in a timely manner.

• March 9 – Caller from 500 High Street, Waupaca, wanted an officer to talk with her 8-year-old daughter who was throwing a tantrum.

• March 9 – Caller from the 300 block of Lake Street, Iola, reported he wants his ex-girlfriend out of the house. She was drinking and they were arguing.

• March 9 – Walgreen’s, New London, reported a man stole some lubricant, went into the restroom and masturbated.

• March 9 – A clerk at Fremont Travel Plaza, State Highway 110, Fremont, reported two women were refusing to leave the store because of the weather. The caller was concerned because some time earlier, two women had refused to leave and the store was subsequently robbed.

• March 9 – A 16-year-old Embarrass girl reported her mother went to a bar with a boyfriend, returned home intoxicated, fell and cracked her head and was bleeding profusely.

• March 8 – Phil’s Still, State Highway 54, New London, reported a drunk passed out at the bar, then woke up and urinated all over the bar.

• March 7 – Marion woman reported she received a bill from Verizon for a phone purchased in her name, using her address and Social Security number. She said she is a customer of Cellcom, not Verizon.

• March 7 – A 19-year-old Waupaca Caller reported his friend’s girlfriend received an inappropriate Snapchat from a man named Sam.

• March 6 – Almond caller reported a trailer and $60,000 worth of equipment were stolen from the E1500 block of Dayton Road, Waupaca.

• March 6 – Caller from the E5900 block of River Street, Manawa, reported a young girl was walking down the street, yelling obscenities about her parents.
