Waupaca County sheriff’s report March 25

• March 24 – Caller from the 600 block of South Pearl Street, New London, reported at 3:31 a.m. that a heavy set man with no shoes came into her house, then left.

• March 24 – Caller from the 100 block of West Beacon Avenue, New London reported at 4:13 a.m. that an intoxicated man was passed out in his living room.

• March 24 – Caller from the 400 block of West North Street, New London, reported that about five people were fighting near the veterans memorial.

• March 24 – Caller from E5000 block of Galilee Road, Weyauwega, reported a naked woman showed up at their house, claimed to be a vampire, then laid down on the ground next to a decorative bear. They tried to give her a blanket, but she refused.

• March 24 – Caller from the Burger King in Waupaca reported a woman was outside spinning in circles.

• March 24 – Caller from North Clinton Avenue, Clintonville, reported a stranger was on her roof. She said he asked if he could come in through the window, and she said no.

• March 24 – Caller from Piggly Wiggly in New London reported a man was outside the store, approaching customers and asking for help.

• March 24 – New London caller reported a man fell by the Roadway Inn and slammed his head.

• March 24 – Caller from the 400 block of Grove Street, Manawa, said her neighbor keeps knocking on her door, yelling she wants her belongings back. The 911 caller, who lives in an apartment complex, said she does not have any of her neighbor’s belongings and believes she is off her meds and drinking.

• March 24 – New London Travel Plaza reported a man came into the store and said he had no place to go for the night.

• March 24 – Caller from South Western Avenue in Waupaca reported he sent $350 via Western Union for some car parts that were never received, and the supplier has stopped all communication.

• March 24 – Caller from the 900 block of West Waupaca Street, New London, reported a floor jack and scan tool were taken the previous day and the person who took them refuses to return them.

• March 23 – Caller from the 500 block of Center Street, Waupaca, reported two children were alone with a registered sex offender.

• March 23 – Caller from the 700 block of Wesely Street, Waupaca, reported he has not been receiving his mail recently. When he went to check on his mailbox that day, he saw an unknown man in a knee-length gray or tan coat going through his neighbor’s mailbox.

• March 22 – Caller from the 200 block of West Street, Scandinavia, reported her soon-to-be ex-mother-in-law was taking her belongings.

• March 22 – Madison caller reported her 4-year-old son was refusing to get ready to meet his father in Waupaca for visitation. Caller said she had a domestic abuse injunction against the father.

• March 22 – Wisconsin Veterans Home at King reported someone stole a gold watch from an 83-year-old female resident.

• March 22 – Caller from the 1300 block of Stone Ridge Road, Waupaca, asked to speak with an officer about identity theft.

• March 21 – Caller from the 100 block of Oman Street, Waupaca, reported his neighbor’s dog will not stop defecating on his property.

• March 21 – Northport Motors, New London, reported a Pontiac G6 had been abandoned in their lot. They were concerned the vehicle may be stolen.

• March 21 – Caller from 400 block of Scott Street, Waupaca, reported her neighbor lets her dogs run loose and they attack her when she walks her own dog.

• March 21 – Caller from School Street, Waupaca, reported a woman on the internet was trying to blackmail him with inappropriate pictures.

• March 21 – Caller from LeRoy Butler Drive, Waupaca, reported her 17-year-old daughter was threatening suicide.

• March 20 – Manawa caller reported receiving an email about his mobile phone being hacked. Dispatch advised him it was a scam and he should delete the message. The caller was adamant about showing it to an officer.

• March 19 – Manawa woman reported she was “not in a good place” and wanted to walk into the river.

• March 19 – Caller from the N1900 block of Evergreen Lane, Waupaca, reported receiving threatening emails and a suspicious package in the mail.

• March 19 – Caller from the 500 block of Center Street, Waupaca, reported his neighbors were harassing him.

• March 19 – Waupaca caller reported seeing a woman in her 20s sleeping or passed out in a red Dodge Intrepid parked at Burger King.

• March 19 – Waupaca caller reported seeing an elderly man sleeping in a black Buick Encore at Walgreens.

• March 19 – Caller from the E7000 block of White Lake Road, Weyauwega, reported someone stole her bank card and made several charges on it.
