Golfers head to Cedar Springs

Pacelli edged Wittenberg-Birnamwood by six strokes April 22 to win a Central Wisconsin Conference boys’ golf meet at Manawa’s Cedar Springs Golf Course.
The Cardinals won the 12-team meet with a 354, while other team scores were Wittenberg-Birnamwood (360), Manawa (367), Bonduel (406), Amherst (432), Weyauwega-Fremont (466), Marion (482), Iola-Scandinavia (490) and Menominee Indian/Gresham (500). Shiocton, Port Edwards and Wisconsin Valley Lutheran had incomplete teams.
Manawa’s scores included Peyton Schuelke (80), Seth Forbes (84), Nathan Reynolds (101), Zach Kriesel (102) and Colin Moser (106).
Weyauwega-Fremont’s scores included Logan Witt (101), Dylan Wilson (113), Logan Kicherer (117) and Ryan Ames (135).
Iola-Scandinavia’s scores included Collin Davids (117), Xander Gambsky (121) Keygan Singh (125), Jack Krause (127) and Hayden Vomberg (150).
