Program offers free helmets
A bicycle safety program is set for 1:30-3:30 p.m. Saturday, May 11, at the Waupaca Learning Center parking lot.
Children ages 4-12 who are preregistered will receive a free helmet.
Tim Lencki from Adventure Outfitters will conduct bike safety checks.
Waupaca police officers will register bikes.
Four bike safety stations will be set up and children who complete all four stations will be entered to win one of two $25 gift cards to Adventure Outfitters.
Cookies and lemonade will be available.
