First State Bank seeks contestants for this year’s Lil’ Strawberry Sally and Sam costume contest on Saturday, June 15.
The contest is part of Waupaca’s Strawberry Fest activities and begins at 11 a.m. at the Band Shell in Rotary Riverview Park.
Boys and girls ages 2 to 5 years old are invited to dress up in their best strawberry-themed outfit.
Participants will be judged on their strawberry theme, originality and personality.
Prizes will be awarded to the first three places for boys and girls.
The first place winners will receive a $50 US Savings Bond. All participants will receive a goodie bag.
Contest registration forms are available online at bankfirststate.com; at First State Bank in Waupaca, 101 County Trunk QQ, Waupaca; or any First State Bank office, or at Sunny Day Childcare and Preschool at 1932 Godfrey Drive.
The form can also be picked up at the Waupaca Chamber office. Registration forms should be returned to First State Bank by Thursday, June 13, to assure receipt of a goodie bag.
Contestants registering the morning of the event may do so from 10:30-10:45 am.
