Attempted abduction

Incident occurred near Chain

The Waupaca County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an attempted abduction in Farmington.

An 17-year-old woman said she was walking down Otter Drive about 9:45 p.m. Sunday, July 28, when a dark-colored crew cab pickup truck pulled up behind her.

The driver exited the truck and tried to force her into the back seat.

The suspect is described as a muscular white male, approximately 6-foot-2-inches tall.

The victim was able to escape without injury, and the suspect left the scene.
