Explosion still under investigation
The Waupaca County Sheriff’s Office identified Mark S. Zielke, 64, as the victim killed in the house explosion.
A 911 caller reported seeing the house explode at 8:45 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 11, at the intersection of county trunks T and N in the town of Lebanon.
The Waupaca County Medical Examiner’s Office pronounced Zielke dead at the scene.
Personnel from the state fire marshal are still investigating the cause of the explosion.
