The Waupaca boys’ soccer team handed Xavier a 4-2 loss Sept. 6 at Comet Field.

Waupaca scored a pair of goals in the first half before both teams found the net twice in the second half.

The Comets will return to Comet Field Thursday, Sept. 12, to face another Bay Conference team, New London, at 6:30 p.m.

It will be the third game of the week for Waupaca, as the Comets traveled to Shawano Sept. 9 and returned to North Eastern Conference play Sept. 10 at Luxemburg-Casco.
