Indians win Crush Cancer match

Weyauwega-Fremont’s volleyball team picked up a win Sept. 19 over Wild Rose.
The Indians swept the Wildcats 25-23, 25-23, 25-15 in the team’s annual Crush Cancer match.
Weyauwega-Fremont also opened Central Wisconsin Conference East Division play Sept. 17 by dropping three of four games to Amherst.
The Indians opened the match with a 25-14 win, but the Falcons won the next three sets, 25-19, 26-24, 25-18.
Weyauwega-Fremont will return to East Division play at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 24, at Shiocton.
