Two trucks collided at approximately 5:30 a.m. Monday, Dec. 16, on State Highway 22 south of County Trunk QQ in the town of Dayton.
According to the Waupaca County Sheriff’s Office, a box truck was southbound on State 22 when it crossed the centerline and struck a northbound semi-tractor-trailer.
A Waupaca County medical examiner pronounced the 58-year-old male driver of the box truck dead at the scene of the crash.
The 80-year-old male operator of the semi was uninjured.
No names have not been released at this time.
The crash remains under investigation.
