Truck flees accident scene in Bear Creek
Three vehicles were involved in a crash around 3:45 p.m. Friday, Jan. 17, in the town of Bear Creek.
According to the Waupaca County Sheriff’s Office, a pickup truck was northbound on County Trunk O, south of Brandy Creek Road.
The truck crossed the center line and struck two southbound vehicles, a car and a sport utility vehicle.
The pickup fled the scene and was located a short time after the crash.
The driver of the SUV was a 30-year-old woman who was treated and released.
The 66-year-old female driver of the car was transported from the scene by ambulance.
The driver of the pickup truck was identified as a 53-year-old man.
The traffic crash remains under investigation.
