Students earn awards for achievement

The 2020 Waupaca High School academic banquet was held on Monday, March 2, in the high school commons.

Zander Neuville, a 2014 WHS graduate, was the guest speaker.

Neuville’s dream of playing Badger football came true, but his journey was not without setbacks especially in the form of injuries.

He shared that it is not what happens to a person in life, but it is how one reacts to it. Resiliency and a positive mindset create successful moments in life’s journey.

He shared how important it is for individuals to surround themselves with positive people, ask for help when needed, know that academics will open doors in life and to not forget to enjoy the journey.
