Duane D. Davidson, age 86 of the Town of Bear Creek, Waupaca County, WI passed away Saturday evening, May 2, 2020 at ThedaCare Regional Medical Center in Appleton.
Duane was born on July 4, 1933 in Waupaca as the son of the late Theodore and Eunice (Bedor) Davidson. He graduated from Weyauwega High school in 1950 and was later united in marriage to Shirley Tews in Fremont on October 7, 1955. The couple farmed in the Town of Lind for a number of years prior to moving to their current farm in the Township of Bear Creek in 1967. Duane loved farming, tractor pulls, country music, and anything to do with the Brewers and the Packers.
Survivors include: four daughters, Sandra (Daniel) Krebs, Clintonville; Dawn (John) Sylvia, Symco; Becky (Mark) Fugleberg, Clintonville, and Bonnie (Chris) Jarvis, Bear Creek; two sons, Todd and Dean Davidson, Clintonville; along with numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Also surviving are four sisters: Betty (Ken) Haire, Weyauwega; Sharon (George) Ehrenberg, Waupaca; Carol (Ivan) Brasch, Fremont; Susan (Eric) Brehmer, Waupaca; also many nieces, nephews, cousins, and other relatives. Duane is preceded in death by his parents, his loving wife Shirley, and a son Michael.
The family would like to thank the staff at ThedaCare Regional Medical Center and hospice for their care and kindness during this difficult time. In accordance with Duane’s wishes, no formal services will be held; burial will take place at Graceland Cemetery Clintonville.
