Tooley, Joseph “Joe”

Joseph “Joe” Tooley, age 60, of Green Bay (formerly of Clintonville) went home to the loving arms of Jesus on July 9, 2020.

Joseph Edward Tooley was born November 23, 1959 in Clintonville to George and Ruth (Fellner) Tooley. Joe completed high school through a GED program. He worked for Manawa Industries many years ago. He was blessed to have a mother that fought to make sure that he got the opportunity to do things that others take for granted. Joe enjoyed writing in his journals and reading books. He loved a good campfire – mainly for the S’mores. He loved superhero’s with his favorites being Superman and Spiderman. He had quite the collection of pictures, posters, clothing, books and other memorabilia. He also liked going to movies, especially sci-fi and liked to watch “the Fonz”, Svengoolie movies and Nightrider series on TV. He spent part of his life wishing that he was David Hasselhoff and insisted that his family to call him David. He especially loved having “a tall one” – regular Pepsi and chocolate chip cookies. Joey was a special blessing to his family. His loving hugs and humor will be greatly missed!

Joe is survived by sisters, Mary Ellen Draeger, Georgine (Larry) Prickette, Patricia Williams (Paul Murphy); brothers, William (Marti Bobartz) Tooley, Peter (Cheryl) Tooley; sister-in-law Elaine Tooley, and many close nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by parents George and Ruth Tooley, brother T.J. Tooley and sister Elaine Kuehnl.

Private Graveside Service will be held at St. Rose Cemetery, Clintonville with Fr. Timothy Shillcox, O. Praem officiating. A Celebration of Life will be held in conjunction with his sister Elaine Kuehnl at Memory Lanes in Clintonville at a later date. Beil-Didier Funeral Home, Clintonville, is assisting with the arrangements. Please go to www.beil-didier.com to sign the online guestbook or to send a card to the family.
